A village in the making

Starwoven is being formed as an Oregon public benefit nonprofit corporation. We're building carefully — with good governance and the right foundations — so families can trust us for years to come.

  1. A name, a mission, a vision

    The Starwoven identity and charitable purpose — rooted in care, community, compassion, connection, and hope.

  2. Incorporation in Oregon

    Filing Articles of Incorporation and naming our registered agent and founding directors.

  3. Board, bylaws & good governance

    Adopting bylaws, a conflict-of-interest policy, and sound financial controls.

  4. Tax-exempt recognition

    Applying to the IRS for 501(c)(3) status and registering with the Oregon Department of Justice Charitable Activities Section.

  5. Opening our doors

    Launching Circles, Beginnings, Remembrance, Care, and Together alongside community partners.
